I picked up a gig shooting some video footage for a Dysfunkshun Junkshun music video, "Scandalous", and perhaps other future Dysfunkshun videos.Here are some stills I took at the shoot between lighting, re-lighting and shooting the video footage:

I had another show on the Commodore's Pup riverboat at Lucy's Boatyard, this time with The Newz and Dysfunkshun Junkshun. Dysfunkshun brought their own engineer, so I was able to walk around and listen to the sound from various locations in and around Hula Hut and Lucy's Boatyard. I picked up a gig shooting some video for some of Dysfunkshun Junkshun's upcoming music video.

I mixed The Newsboyz at Johnny Fins last Saturday. It was very crouded. There was a guy from the Dallas Cowboys there and some very young girls that were incredibly good dancers. One of them got on stage and pretty much stole the show.I updated photo galleries on The Newsboyz site, Johnny Fin's site and here. Links to those galleries here:

Sunday, I had a gig with The Newsboyz at Lucy's Boatyard on the Commodore's Pup, a riverboat docked between Lucy's and Hula Hut. The sound system was to be provided, but there was an issue with loading the other sound company's system onto the boat, due to various components being too large to fit through the narrow boarding gate. My equipment will all fit through a standard doorway, so we used it instead. I ended up making some extra money and mixed Chris Max and his trio as the opening act. It was a strange gig, but pleasant. The food was good. I may do the upcoming Sunday with Dysfunkshun Junkshun, a band that I have provided sound reinforcement for before.

I was back at Cool River Cafe Saturday night, this time with the Band Wall Street. I mixed on the house system instead of bringing in my own, which I do with The Newsboyz for their additional technical requirements.As usual, here are some photos I shot while mixing the band:
